About this event

Treating Cancers; From Pups to People (and Back) with Dr. Mark Mamula

Dr. Mamula is a professor of medicine at Yale Cancer Center. Mark was trained as an immunologist and has been studying cancer for 10 years. Mark lost his own Labrador Retriever from hemangiosarcoma about 12 years ago and realized that veterinary oncologists do not have the tools to treat dog cancers.

Mark’s own work in treating dog is supported by the Canine Cancer Alliance (https://www.ccralliance.org). Mark started a company, TheraJan.com to manage and distribute canine cancer immunotherapy. Clinical trials are underway at 12 sites around the country.

Zoom link will be emailed to members.
